Until now, we only supported text-based PDF files, but now we will be able to support scanned or image data as well.<\/p>\n\n\n<p><strong>&lt;OCR Supported Languages&gt;<\/strong><br \/>\nEnglish, Dutch, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Swedish, Finnish, Portuguese, Japanese, Polish, Romanian, Russian, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, Turkish, Korean, Ukrainian<br \/>\n*Not supported: Arabic, Bengali, Hindi, Indonesian, Mongolian, Malay, Myanmar, Nepali, Thai, Tagalog, and Vietnamese<\/p>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>2. Word-to-word Highlighting \/ Smart Suggestions<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-10356\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/smart-suggestions.png\" alt=\"YarakuZen Smart suggestions\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n<p><strong>Word-to-word Highlighting<\/strong> highlights the corresponding word when mousing over the source or translated text. <strong>Smart Suggestions<\/strong> displays synonyms directly below. Users can visually determine which words are paired and check for synonyms. These new functions will improve post-editing efficiency and help users to learn a foreign language while translating.<\/p>\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>3. <strong>Finnish language support<\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n<p>Finnish will be newly added to Google Cloud Translation, and Microsoft Translator. 29 languages are now supported in total. In addition, Ukrainian, Hindi, and Tagalog will also be supported for Kawamura NMT powered by NICT.<\/p>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>4. <strong>GDPR Compliance<\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-10355\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/cookies.png\" alt=\"YarakuZen GDPR Compliance\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n<p>GDPR stands for General Data Protection Regulation and is a personal data protection law for Western European countries. The GDPR also applies to cookies which are mandatory for YarakuZen and its OEM products for the use of the application.
