New models with better intelligence and more capabilities are being developed all the time.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Although we recently updated the models, AI development is advancing at such a fast pace that new models are already offering significant improvements. AI Dictionary Update<\/a><\/li><\/ol><\/nav><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"1. GPT 5.4-mini and GPT 5.4\">1. GPT 5.4-mini and GPT 5.4<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Replacing our current default engine GPT 5-mini will be GPT 5.4-mini. Our GPT 5.1 will also be replaced with GPT 5.4<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>GPT 5.4 was released in March 2026. From <a href=\"https:\/\/openai.com\/index\/introducing-gpt-5-4\/\">OpenAI\u2019s website<\/a>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201cGPT\u20115.4 brings together the best of our recent advances in reasoning, coding, and agentic workflows into a single frontier model.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The GPT 5.4-mini model is a significant improvement over the current GPT 5-mini. It can even compete with the current GPT 5.1 despite being a \u201c-mini\u201d version. Users should also see less of the problems that the 5-mini model might have such as segments being untranslated.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For those concerned about security, please rest assured. By highlighting text in the Edit page, a popup will appear with AI-generated definitions, synonyms, and example sentences.
